PBC-188 VHF Radio
PBC-188 is a universal tactical VHF transceiver. It can be used as man-pack transceiver， and also can be equipped with 50W VHF PA, vehicle-borne installation rack and vehicle-borne center-fed antenna as vehicle-borne mobile communication equipments or fixed communication equipments. The transceiver is mainly used for communication among battalions, companies and platoons of land forces, and also it can be used in tanks, armored cars, communication cars, mobile artilleries, armed helicopters, warships, etc. Equipped with digital secret handset, it can perform digital secret communication. With 1.5m whip antenna, the communication distance of the transceiver can be 8km; with 3m whip antenna, the communication distance of the transceiver can reach 12km.
